The People of The Boxes by Dawud Wharnsby Ali

There were once some people who all saw their lives like empty boxes
They looked around the world collecting up the things they liked
They filled their lives in boxes with the goodies that they gathered
And they all felt in control, content and they all felt all right
They climbed inside their boxes, they settled with their trinkets
They neither looked nor learnt much more and closed their lids up tight
Once they fastened up their boxes they smiled there inside
And they all thought in their darkness that the world was clear and bright

But the world is not a box,
There's no lid, no doors, no cardboard flaps or locks.
And everything in nature from the clouds to the rocks
Is a piece of the puzzle of the purpose of man;
It's the piece of the peace of Islam

Along came a wandering wise man whispering such words of truth,
Who stumbled on these boxes so separate side by side
He knocked upon the first one saying,
"Please come out and feel the day"
An answer came from deep within,
"You're not of us please go away"

He approached the second box and tapped thrice on the lid, saying,
"Peace to you inside, shall I show you a new way?”
Someone peaked out from a crack and said,
"You may just have a point, but it's so comfy in my box, in my box here I will stay."

But the world is not a box,
There's no lid, no doors, no cardboard flaps or locks.
And everything in nature from the clouds to the rocks
Is a piece of the puzzle of the purpose of man;
It's the piece of the peace of Islam

He stood before the final box; a hiding face peaked out to him,
And much to his surprise he said,
"I recognize those eyes"
"I see you and you see me, why not come out and be free?
Faith and flowers wilt and die if they are hidden from the sky."

Cuz the world is not a box,

And everything in nature from the clouds to the rocks

Do You Really Deserve Your Driving Licence

I can say, with confidence, that many of us, driving in Jordan, do not deserve our driving license. Frankly, driving tests that we undergo is so easy compared to other countries.
I live near 7th circle, and I pass the route that the "Licensing Department" use for testing candidates 10 times everyday, Its an easy known route for students and they drive through it like 1000 times when they are training for the test.
Is it really wise to tell the candidates what road they will pass through so that they will practice it hundred of times? Shouldn't it be up to the office to chose a different path every time so that you test the student in real life and see how he will behave?

How is done in the UK

“The driving part of your test will last about 40 minutes. Throughout the test your examiner will be looking for an overall safe standard of driving, including when you are carrying out the set exercises. You can make up to 15 driving faults and still pass the test (16 or more results in failure). However, if you commit one serious or dangerous fault you will fail the test.”

How is it done in the US - NY 

“The passenger car road test usually takes about 15 minutes. It will test your ability to make basic maneuvers needed in everyday driving. You will have to make left and right turns, stop at intersections controlled by stop signs and traffic lights, and to parallel park. You also will be asked to turn your vehicle around in a narrow street (three-point turn) and to drive in fairly heavy traffic. The motorcycle test is slightly different from the passenger car test. For example, instead of parallel parking, you will be required to make figure-eights in a small area such as a narrow streets and to make left and right circles.

How is it done in Jordan

A 5 minutes test in a well known route to all students, in which they drove through with their instructor like 1000 times and they can do it with closed eyes. Yet, they fail!

بعد قرائتي للقصة المحزنة التي حصلت لوالد حسين في مستشفى الامير حمزة، خطر على بالي إنو أكيد هذا المستشفى لما كان ينبنى ولما تم الإفتتاح كان الحكي دائما إنو "صرح طبي" و"كوادر متميزة" وأجهزة معقدة" و "مستويات عالمية" صحيح مية بالمية.

لا تملك وانت تتجول في مبنى مستشفى الامير حمزة الا ان تتخيل انك امام مشروع صرح طبي اردني متميز، فالبناء والتجهيزات والسعة وحماس فريق التشغيل كلها مقومات اولية لانجاز نموذج طبي اردني مثل المدينة الطبية. وقرابة خمسين مليون دينار تم انفاقها حتى الان على البناء ............... ولعل هذا المستشفى فرصة لإعادة الاعتبار لصورة الأطباء والممرضين في وزارة الصحة عبر الاستفادة من خبراتهم في اجواء طبية حقيقية وقادرة على جعل الطبيب يمارس الطب. أستاذ سميح، لازم تعملك زيارة جديدة

رئيس الوزراء يزور مستشفى الامير حمزه – صرح طبي متميز

اطمأن رئيس الوزراء الدكتور معروف البخيت خلال زيارة قام بها اليوم الى مستشفى الامير حمزة على مستوى الخدمات الطبية والعلاجية التي يقدمها المستشفى لمراجعيه.......... اصبح صرحاً طبياً متميزاً نظراً لما يتمتع به من كفاءات طبية واجهزة حديثة تضاهي الموجودة في اكبر المستشفيات ........ واستفسر رئيس الوزراء من المرضى وذويهم حول مستوى الخدمات المقدمة لهم ومدى رضاهم عنها حيث اشادوا بمستوى الخدمات والرعاية المقدمة لهم فضلا عن تميز المستشفى بالنظافة وسرعة تقديم الخدمه... حلوه هاي أشادوا

الاعتداء على 3 ممرضين في مستشفى الامير حمزة - بستاهلوا

احتجب كادر التمريض في قسم الاسعاف والطوارئ في مستشفى الامير حمزة عن العمل قرابة الساعة أمس احتجاجا على تعرض ثلاثة زملاء لهم بينهم ممرضة للضرب من قبل مرافقي أحد المرضى أمس الاول.

الصحة تحقق في وفاة مواطن في مستشفى الأمير حمزة لعدم توفر طبيب اختصاص – لسا بحققوا

أكد مساعد الأمين العام لشؤون المستشفيات في وزارة الصحة د. سمير الكايد أن الوزارة لن تتهاون بالشكوى التي تقدم بها أهل المتوفي محمد ابو مشرف والذي كان يعاني من احتشاء في عضلة القلب، حيث توفي في مستشفى الأمير حمزة لعدم توفر طبيب اختصاص حسب ما أفاد أشقاؤه ....... وحسب ما أفاد أشقاء المتوفي محمد صبحي أو مشرف، أن شقيقهم غادر الحياة يوم الثلاثاء بعد وصوله إلى مستشفى الأمير حمزة بثلاث ساعات وذلك لعدم توفر طبيب اختصاص، وكان قد أمضى ساعات في مستشفى البشير الذي قرر نقله إلى الأمير حمزة لعدم توفر الأسرّة، إضافة إلى تعطل سيارة الإسعاف على الطريق وانقطاع الأوكسجين عن المريض ونقله بعد ذلك في سيارة من نوع بكب أب إلى مستشفى البشير.. لن تتهاون
