My UMAX!
So,for around 25 JDs a month I entered the world of high speed internet through UMAX from Umniah. I got this toy

This is supposed to be the Wireless modem, plug it in any electricity source anywhere and you have a high speed internet connection. They call it CPE, Customer Premises Equipment.
My connection is 256 Kbps and its giving me the following when i tested it in Intel site
I guess it is a very good for a 256 Kbps connection. Right Khaled?
I think its Much better than the headache of wired ADSL.
They still have a problem : Coverage. Only four areas in Amman are covered and Umniah are still working on the rest. even in these four areas, you wont get a perfect reception.
Anyway, I am satisfied with my connection.
