Do you believe in Life After Death?

If you do believe, that’s your choice. If you don’t, that’s also your choice.

We are all making choices here, in our perception of life after death. The purpose of our existence, the way we should live in this life, if there is another life or not, How that life will be, is their really Heaven and Hell? What we are supposed to do to go to Heaven instead of Hell, if we want to in the first place. Can I decide how to worship god or should I follow a prescribed way by a prophet? Am I being right or wrong in my life now? Is there really right and wrong?

Your answer to these questions is your choice. You see, you live only once (unless you believe in reincarnation, which is another choice for you) and since you live only once, you have to be pretty sure that you will not be surprised when you die.
Surprised by what? Surprised that you made the wrong choice. This is not a school project; it’s your life project. This is a computer game that you can repeat if you die, you have only one shot.
We seek knowledge from well-known people in their field when it comes to Physics, Medicine, Law, Engineering, etc… so that we won’t make grieve mistakes. We get the best scientists on earth to build a space rocket so that it won’t explode when we launch it. Yet, when it comes to relation with our creator, we refuse the teachings and wisdom of experts in that field. We say to our selves: “I am free person, no one can tell me what to do, I will believe in what I want, this is bulls**t, I don’t believe in this crap, it does not make sense, it can not be.” Well, It’s your choice. You have the freedom to believe in what you want, but I am telling you, you have only one shot, one choice, Once you die, you cant come back and re-live it again after you discovered the truth, whatever it is.

My advice to you all, and it’s coming out of heart: make sure you are making the right choice. Don’t get too smart when the matter concerns your life after death. Always seek knowledge, read, and ask, and open your mind, don’t follow your desires.
What is the purpose of my life? If I die today, will my doings in this life qualify me to a good life after death or not, or maybe you don’t care, you are pretty sure you have made the right choice.

I read the post in the blog of Into the Wind : ATV still not allowed to broadcast. I am really frustrated by how things are going for ATV till now. However, It seems there are other facts we don't know yet. I am referring to the news in Al-Quds Al-Arabi newspaper, in yesterday's edition. Falafel, Number One Cause of Cancer in Jordan

Ok, it is not a mere scientific statement, yet! It is only my claim, but don't you agree.

Scientists say that using cooking oil for deep frying more than once is not good. I wonder what would they say for using it for 1000+ times. Seriously, most of the Falafel restaurants keep adding oil to the old oil whenever its level gets below a certain point, so basically, we are consuming the same oil that has been used before a week or a month, and that has been exposed to repetive heating (+200degrees) and cooling and is full of deposits.

A recent study found that a toxin called 4-hydroxy-trans-2-nonenal (HNE) forms when such oils as canola, corn, soybean and sunflower oils are reheated. Consumption of foods containing HNE from cooking oils has been associated with increased risks of cardiovascular disease, stroke, Parkinson'?s disease, Alzheimer's disease, Huntington's disease, various liver disorders, and cancer. Once absorbed in the body, HNE reacts with DNA, RNA and proteins affecting basic cellular processes.

I believe that falafel, because of the oil being fried in, is very unhealthy.

A Big Surprise - By Hizboallah

An interesting article about "Hizboallah Big Surprise" that Hassan Nasrallah announced few days ago. Although I don't believe the part about Syria participating in the War, IF there will be a war. The man has a point.

مفاجأة حزب الله الكبرى/ بقلم : بروفيسور عبد الستار قاسم

(لو) لبست ثوب السيد حسن نصر الله، وفكرت بمستقبل المواجهة مع إسرائيل لانصب اهتمامي أولا على امتلاك صواريخ مضادة للطائرات الحربية بالتطوير أو الاستيراد.

وإذا كانت الحرب القادمة تحمل مفاجأة كبرى فهي، على الأغلب، مفاجأة تبقي على الطائرات الحربية الإسرائيلية في مخابئها عاجزة عن شن غارات جوية على مواقع مدنية أو عسكرية.

الهيمنة الجوية الإسرائيلية تشكل أكبر عقبة عسكرية أمام العرب، وأمام حزب الله وسوريا بالتحديد، لأنهم لا يملكون طائرات تتمتع بمزايا قتالية كتلك الموجودة لدى إسرائيل، ولا يملكون قدرات دفاعية رادعة للطائرات الإسرائيلية.

من المنطقي، ومن التفكير العلمي أن يركز أي مخطط عسكري عربي معني بمواجهة إسرائيل على امتلاك قدرات تقنية وفنية تمكنه من إسقاط الطائرات الإسرائيلية ومنعها من شن غارات جوية كيفما تشتهي.

إذا كان حزب الله يمتلك الآن صواريخ مضادة للدروع متعددة الرؤوس وتستطيع النفاذ إلى قلب الدبابة الإسرائيلية بتصفيحها المطور، فهذه مفاجأة، ومن المفاجئ أيضا إذا كان يمتلك صواريخ ذات حمولة أكبر مما شهدناه في صيف 2006، وذات إصابة أكثر دقة، وكذك سنرى مفاجأة إذا امتلك قدرة أفضل على إطلاق صواريخ أرض-بحر.

لكن هذه المفاجآت وما يشبهها ستكون متواضعة أمام منظومة دفاع جوي تغطي الأرض اللبنانية وتمنع الطائرات الإسرائيلية من حرية الطيران في مساحة واسعة من سماء فلسطين. وإذا كان هناك مفاجأة أكبر من ذلك، فلنا أن نفكر بقنابل نووية تكتيكية تصل بسهولة إلى مراكز إسرائيلية إستراتيجية.

استنتاجي بأن حزب الله قد حصل على صواريخ مضادة للطائرات من إيران التي طورت منظومة دقيقة ما زالت قدراتها طيّ الكتمان. تستند المنظومة الإيرانية على مجسات إليكترونية غير حرارية، ولا تتأثر بالبالونات النارية التي تطلقها الطائرات، ومن المحتمل أن مدى الصاروخ يصل إلى حوالي 250 كم. ومن المحتمل أنه يتم إطلاق الصواريخ من على بطاريات هيدروليكية يمكن أن تختفي بسرعة، ولا تستطيع أن تطالها الصواريخ الموجهة من البحر.

بغض النظر عن نوع المفاجأة، تقديري أن حزب الله قد أعد للحرب القادمة بطريقة ستحسم الحرب بصورة سريعة، وستكون نتائجها وبالا كبيرا على إسرائيل وأمريكا، وعلى كل من يتعامل معهما في المنطقة. وإذا توفر الغطاء الجوي، وشّل الطيران الإسرائيلي فإنه سيكون بمقدور الحزب الاستيلاء على مواقع سكانية صهيونية مثل بعض المستوطنات في شمال فلسطين، وبذلك يكون قد أدخل المنطقة في مرحلة جديدة تقلب طاولة المفاوضات القائمة حاليا، وتغير من أنماط اللعب السياسي، ليس على المستوى الإقليمي فحسب وإنما على المستوى العالمي.

إذا كان حزب الله يمتلك المفاجأة الكبرى، فإنه من المتوقع أن تمتلك سوريا ذات المفاجأة، إنما على نطاق أوسع بسبب الرحابة الجغرافية. وإذا كان حزب الله لا يمتلك مبررات سياسية قوية لجر إسرائيل إلى الحرب، فإن سوريا تمتلك.

ليس من المستبعد أن تقوم سوريا بخطوات تدفع إسرائيل إلى حشد قواتها في الجولان وعلى امتداد الجنوب اللبناني، مما يتيح مجالا جيدا لمناورة عسكرية تجعل الميزان يميل لصالح سوريا.

من غير المتوقع أن تقوم سوريا بالهجوم المباشر لأن الحرب القادمة لن تكون شبيهة بالحروب التقليدية التي كانت ترى أفضلية للمهاجم على المدافع، وإنما سيكون هجومها غير مباشر لاستنزاف الجيش الإسرائيلي في عملية دفاعية مشابهة لتلك التي اعتمدها حزب الله عام 2006.

هل ستورط إسرائيل نفسها في حرب؟ لا مجال أمام إسرائيل إلا الحرب لأن البديل قد يكون أسوأ من الحرب. اعتمدت إسرائيل سياسة الحرب الوقائية، ولا أظن أنه بإمكانها التخلي عنها الآن بسبب التطور السريع في التقنية العسكرية الإيرانية والتي تزود حزب الله وسوريا بما تنتجه، وهذا يعني أن الطريق ستكون ممهدة مستقبلا لهجوم عربي مباشر يضع إسرائيل على حافة الزوال.

لكن من المحتمل أن تقوم إسرائيل بحرب استكشافية أو اختبارية، أي حرب محدودة تدفع من خلالها حزب الله أو سوريا إلى استعمال المفاجآت الجديدة مما يمكنها من وضع الخطط المتناسبة مع الوسائل والأساليب القتالية الجديدة.

استعملت إسرائيل أساليب عدوانية استكشافية في لبنان من قبل مما مكنها من تدمير الصواريخ السورية السوفييتية الصنع التي كانت منصوبة في البقاع. هذا تخطيط سيخيب إذا كانت عيون العرب مفتوحة جيدا بحيث لا يتسرعون باستعمال مفاجآتهم.

السيد حسن نصر الله لا يتكلم من فراغ أو في فراغ، وقد اعتدنا على سماع كلام منه يتسع له فمه. إنه يتكلم بقدر إمكانياته، ويلبس بما يتناسب مع ما في جيبه، ويحمل سيفا لا يعلو على قامته، ولا يتبجح بما قد يوقعه في الحرج.

حزب الله جاد في كل ما يصنع سواء على المستوى المدني أو العسكري، ويكفيه أن أعداءه لا يقوون على اختراقه، ومعلوماتهم حوله لا ترتقي عن مستوى التداول الإعلامي، وهو عبارة عن صندوق مقفل من ناحية التخطيط العسكري والتكتيك والتسليح والتنفيذ.

ومن متابعاتي لنتف المعلومات التي تُلقى هنا وهناك، أو تستشف من بين السطور، المنطقة العربية الإسلامية مقبلة على تغيير كبير تكون إسرائيل وأمريكا فيه الخاسرتين.

Negotiate to Win

I am lousy in Negotiations. I am lousy to the degree that a salesman would make a discount for me without me asking just because he feels sorry for me because i am terrible in Negotiations. Here is a story that happened to me 12 years ago:-

I went to "Haidar Murad - Sharp", to buy a Tape Recorder.
Me: How much is this Tape Recorder?
Salesman: 40 JDs
Me: OK, Deal
Salesman: Is this how you negotiate! Do you call this negotiation!
Me: mmmmmm, ya3ni, walahe...
ٍSalesman: I will give it to you for 30 JDs
Me: OK

I was still young then so give me a break

So, trying to improve my great skills in negotiations, I bought a great book "Negotiate to Win" by Jim Thomas. A great book indeed. Not only it is very useful in giving you means and methods for negotiating successfully, but also it is hilarious.
Jim knows what we need to master and he gives it in a very simple and interesting way.

The books contains many sections with different advices and on what to do in different situation. I chose to give you some hints for the day to day negotiations that i found easy to remember:-
- Start High
- Krunch early and often:- That is, to give an indication to the other side that you have heard their offer and that you want a better one.
- Do your homework before you go to negotiations.
- Prepare an envelope of you Highest point, Target Price and Bottom Line.

On the Funny Side:- (no offense to lawyers, just for fun.)

"After a brief conference, the client prepared to leave his lawyer's office. Expressing his thanks for the lawyer's assistance, he inquired as to how much he owed. "A hundred dollars should take care of it," replied the lawyer. The client produced a crisp new hundred-dollar bill, and departed. Along in his office, the lawyer was absentmindedly playing with the hundred-dollar bill when suddenly he discovered that he had received not one, but two hundred-dollar bills, stuck together. "Now i have an ethical dilemma," said the lawyer to himself. "Do i tell my partner or not?"

هل يصلنا الخبر بصورة صحيحة

نشرت الجرائد ووسائل الإعلام البارحة خبر إقتحام القوة التنفيذية لحماس اعرس فس غزة. كنت ألاحظ دائما عند قرائتي لأكثر من جريدة في اليوم إختلاف طريقة عرض الأخبار لمصلحة على الآخر، التالي مثال
